What to Expect
Tesla's Global Risk Management and Insurance Team oversees the company's corporate insurance, risk management, and surety programs across all business components. The Risk & Claims Analyst, reporting to the Senior Risk & Insurance Manager, will support insurance coverage analysis, claim processing, contract review and negotiation, as well as certificate and auto ID issuance when required. This role ensures timely and accurate claim administration, maintains compliance, conducts contract reviews, and delivers exceptional customer service. What You'll Do
- Interpret insurance policies to support Tesla's business operations, legal, and procurement teams in reviewing and negotiating corporate contracts, focusing on insurance, liability, indemnity, and self-insurance clauses
- Manage incident reporting and claim administration for Tesla regions outside the USA, including EMEA, APAC, and the Americas
- Support incident intake, claim processing, and loss recovery services for Tesla's emerging Robotaxi operations
- Assist the Risk Team with managing insurance evidence, auto identification cards, invoicing/payment processes, and surety bond tracking
- Participate in or lead trainings on risk philosophies, insurance terms, and contractual commitments
- Consult with internal and external stakeholders to stay informed of changes in exposures or operations
- Perform additional duties as developed and assigned
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in corporate risk management, claims management, or an insurance company/broker environment preferred
- Expert knowledge of commercial auto and general liability insurance
- Demonstrated experience with large, multinational insurance programs
- Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and meet goals and deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills to influence and communicate effectively with insurance and non-insurance professionals
- Capability to develop strategic relationships and collaborate domestically and internationally
- Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
