What to Expect

This is an opportunity to become part of a fast-growing, world-class organization supporting the latest energy technologies. Energy Studio creates and maintains video assets for Tesla Energy products based on and supporting technical documentation for a global audience. This skilled and motivated individual will facilitate the creation of technical video assets by collaborating closely with video producers to bring procedures to life, on schedule and under budget. They will oversee the maintenance and scheduling of equipment, as well as being on-screen talent to demonstrate step-by-step procedures.


What You'll Do
  • Learn and maintain expert knowledge of service and troubleshooting procedures
  • Coordinate video shooting schedule, allocating needed tools and equipment
  • Ensure location and equipment are in optimal aesthetic and working condition for video sessions
  • Act as on-screen talent, strictly following documented procedures
  • Follow all safety protocols and identify areas that may need safety review
  • Collaborate with technical writers and safety engineers in procedure development
  • Act as subject matter expert in the review process of videos to reach final approval

What You'll Bring
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and/or overtime along with overnight stay and up to 30% travel to support Tesla's critical mission
  • Electrical trades experience within troubleshooting power electronics and low voltage controls
  • Strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Previous experience working with power/hand tools, electrical equipment, and ability to navigate numerous computer applications and technology independently
  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • Must be able to work at heights, work in extreme environments, perform prolonged periods of repetitious duties, lift at least 50 pounds frequently

    Expected Compensation
    $35.15 - $44.84/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
