Job Description

What is the opportunity?

This is an important Director level position responsible for the management and supervision of daily operations for core regulatory client reporting functions, including Monthly Account Statements, Trade Confirmations and Prospectuses, and Tax Reporting. The mandate also includes direct leadership and participation in strategic initiatives related to the business function.

What will you do?

  • Provide senior oversight and subject matter leadership for the execution of "Run The Bank" activities and strategic initiatives for Tax, Statements, Trade Confirmations & Prospectus Operations.
  • Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate risk, including ownership of Written Supervisory Procedures and controls, to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Implement operational best practices; establishing a culture of self-motivated process improvement within the bank.
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with internal partners, external service providers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Deliver to, or exceed, established department SLAs and operating goals.
  • Maintain adequate staffing levels and work distribution, and mentor, develop, and recruit next level managers and general staff.
  • Assure financial accountability for assigned cost centers and General Ledger accounts, including reconciliation and certification.
  • Execute all other tasks as directed by the Managing Director, Client Reporting Operations.

Must-have

  • Leadership and direction experience across a dynamic team of Operations professionals and associates.
  • Ability to make sound judgments in real-time
  • Exemplary understanding of regulatory and risk considerations related to the covered business functions.
  • Deep knowledge of the Wealth Management and the integrated processes of the business operation
  • Strong vertical and lateral partnering and communication skills.
  • Series 99 and SIE requirements

Nice-to-have

  • Experience working with third-party service providers.
  • Experience working with high volume data records.
  • Familiarity with Secure File Transmission Protocols (SFTPs).

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $130,000 - $210,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
