Power Distribution Group Manager, Supply Chain

Tesla is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Group Manager to lead the strategic sourcing and management of cost-optimized supply chains for harnesses, connectors, and cables used in Tesla vehicles and energy products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent analytical and leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Lead a high-performing team of supply chain managers to develop and execute direct purchasing strategies for HV/LV harnesses and connectors
• Monitor market conditions, technology roadmaps, and identify supply/demand challenges and opportunities
• Analyze spend and evaluate current suppliers to consolidate spend, identify new suppliers, and develop sourcing alternatives
• Develop spend strategies and negotiate commercial cost reduction opportunities
• Maintain day-to-day supplier relationships and act as the lead point of contact for commercial issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities
• Support direct purchasing and service requirements
• Implement new programs as identified by Tesla leadership

• Degree in Supply Chain or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of leadership experience in supply chain, preferably in tech, consumer goods, or automotive industry
• 7+ years of commodity sourcing experience
• Excellent analytical, judgment, and leadership skills
• Advanced Excel skills and Microsoft Project experience
• Strategic sourcing, opportunity analysis, and contract negotiation skills
• Ability to identify business process issues and drive continuous improvement
• Strong executive presence, communication skills, and ability to work independently
• Organizational skills to manage transactional details
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
