ABOUT YOUR ROLE
Support the Commercial Closing department with booking new loans, renewals and extensions and ensure documentation is properly executed and processed on the Bank's core operating systems. In addition, filing or recording of collateral documents, create tracking and reports for follow-up on outstanding post closing items and required filings.
WHAT YOU WILL DO LIST
Performs post-closing review of loan closing packages. Verifies all documentation necessary for loan type and for collateral conformity necessary to protect the Bank's security interest is complete and in order. Validates closer applied prudent closing practices and administration protocols for loan and collateral type.
Review of commercial loan packages for satisfaction of regulatory items such as: US Patriot Act, Beneficial Ownership, etc.
Assists Closing-Post Closing Manager in compilation of data for regulatory compliance and monthly and quarterly auditing
Maintains working knowledge of the nCino and Premier operating systems. (booking and reporting systems) and department procedures in order to effectively preform post closing tasks.
Recording of documents (mortgages, UCC financing statements and other documents as required).
Works with relationship managers, the closing department, and borrower's title company to ensure required post closing documentation is received.
Reviews loan closing or modification documents to confirm any changes are consistent with any system updates on the core processing system for operation control group compliance.
Provides quality control with proper execution of loan documentation, the creation of non-financial tracking reporting
Prepares documentation files for system scanning when required.
Reviews daily department proof and complete proof of general ledgers to ensure all items are reconciled. Assist with the research and resolution of outstanding item.
Understands compliance with all regulations governing the banking industry, as well as agency guidelines and organization policies.

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU
General knowledge of the lending process and documentation, and ability to interpret the policies & procedures governing commercial lending.
Working knowledge of general regulations governing the banking industry, as well as agency guidelines and organization policies.
Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to effectively communicate with commercial customers.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite, Fiserv and documentation prep programs.
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of credit and customer information.
Requirements
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
1-3 years commercial loan processing experience.

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CONTACTS
Internal contacts include loan assistants, relationship managers, commercial closing administrators, Loan Servicing associates.
External contact includes Bank and borrowers' counsel and title companies.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Office environment. Ability to operate computer. Ability to communicate in order to exchange simple to complex information with individuals and groups. Ability to travel throughout Bank footprint.
