The Clinical Exercise Physiologist - GH Study designs, implements, and monitors individualized exercise programs for individuals seeking to improve their physical health and wellness. This position works with clients to assess their fitness levels, develop personalized training plans, and track their progress while prioritizing safety and proper technique.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate client's current fitness level, health history, and personal goals.
  • Develop and implement personalized exercise programs based on individual needs and goals.
  • Teach clients proper exercise techniques and form to minimize injury and maximize results.
  • Monitor client progress, provide feedback, and adjust programs as needed.
  • Ensure a safe exercise environment, monitor client safety during exercise, and report any safety concerns.
  • Understanding of how the body responds to exercise and the principles of exercise prescription
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, explain exercise routines, and provide feedback.
  • Ability to motivate and encourage clients to adhere to their exercise program.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.


  • Minimum Qualifications Required:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science (such as Exercise Science, Clinical Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology) or a related health care area (such as Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, or Physical Education)
    2. Master's degree in Exercise Science (such as Exercise Science, Clinical Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology) or a related health care area (such as Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, or Physical Education)


    Note: To meet the Minimum Acceptable Qualifications for this classification, the applicant must possess one of the above listed degrees in Exercise Science; the other degree can be in any other related health care area or discipline.
