Job Summary:
The Videographer/Producer brings client visions to life through creative, high-impact advertising that drives results. By blending storytelling, motion graphics, and strategic messaging, this position supports Midco's mission to connect people through powerful media experiences. It serves as a creative partner to both internal teams and external clients, ensuring every project-from concept to final cut-is delivered with excellence, clarity, and purpose. Ultimately, this role helps businesses grow by crafting compelling content that resonates with audiences across television and digital platforms. Responsibilities: * Produce television advertisements and digital advertising, including concept creation, writing, production, videography and editing. * Create motion graphics using, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects or equivalent. * Present concepts and explain production methods to customers and members of the Sales Team. * Write professional and effective advertising copy. * Work directly with customers to determine pertinent details regarding their advertising requirements, including working directly with other agencies. * Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers to ensure on-time delivery. * Model Midco's mission, vision, values, ethos, and Leadership Success Drivers, and inspire others to do the same. * Ensure customer privacy by adhering to Midco's privacy guidelines while actively following Midco policies and procedures. * Maintain reliable and predictable attendance as required by the position. * Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: * High School diploma or GED required. * Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills required. * Exceptional organizational and time management skills required. * Experience operating video cameras, non-linear computer editing equipment. Adobe Premiere, Final Cut or equivalent. * Knowledge of how to use lighting for videography. Preferred Qualifications: * Prior customer service or sales experience. * Experience with a project management application. * Drone license highly desirable. Note: Team Members will be assigned a level based on the required experience and training. Advancement is sequential and contingent upon successful completion of all requirements at the preceding level, including certifications, demonstrated proficiencies, and time-in-role or equivalent experience where applicable. Videographer/Producer I * Plan and create television and digital advertisements for external business customers. * High School diploma or GED required. * Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills required. Videographer/Producer II * Work directly with customers to determine pertinent details regarding their advertising requirements, including working directly with other agencies. * Direct and lead small on-location shoots. * Create and design, static and video digital advertising. * Minimum 3 years of prior experience in a video production environment required. Videographer/Producer III * Research, identify and manage freelance actor relationships. * Direct and lead medium to large on-location shoots. Work directly with actors, additional videographers, grips and coordinators. * Lead on special projects including but not limited to process/pricing projects ensuring deadlines are met, process documentation created and training executed prior to release. * Minimum 5 years of prior experience in a video production environment required. Videographer/Producer IV * Lead brainstorming sessions to develop television commercial concepts that will effectively meet the customer's needs. * Coordinate storyboard creation and the script writing process; gather creative elements including logos, props, voice and acting talent. * Supervise staff and provide direction as determined by Production leadership. * Minimum 8 years of prior experience in a video production environment required. Work Environment: * The noise level in the work environment is moderate. * May be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands. * Occasional outdoor work and must be able to work in all weather conditions. Physical Demands: * The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 50 lbs. * In-person visits to a customer's place of business are normal in the performance of this job. Specific abilities required include accessing a customer's place of business by stairs or elevator, operating doors or other entrances, navigating hallways and buildings, etc., and adapting successfully to a constantly changing environment. * Employees may be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands. Mental Demands: * Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and customer priorities to meet deliverables. * Attention to detail to ensure brand consistency and quality standards in final product. * Creative thinking to generate original ideas for advertisements and creative story telling. * Have difficult conversations with customers to hold them accountable to the creative process. |
