Join our dynamic team as an Executive Protection Specialist, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding our CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and other executives in both domestic and international settings. Under the guidance of the Executive Protection Director, you will provide essential protective services, ensuring the safety and security of Cencora's leadership during transportation and various assignments. Your contributions will be crucial in maintaining the safety and integrity of our executive team as they navigate their important roles.

  • Provides executive protection to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team
  • Ensures the safety and security of the CEO, ELT and other executives by providing secure transportation and executive protection while maintaining a high level of situational awareness
  • Possess defensive driving skills to avoid potential threats, accidents, or hazards
  • Conduct security assessments to identify potential security risks and plan the appropriate protective measures
  • Conducts a variety of proactive and reactive investigations, including but not limited to potential violations of company policy and crimes by or against Cencora team members, vendors, and/or customers
  • Assists in conducting thorough advance planning to identify potential security threats and establish security protocols, including route planning, security sweeps, and emergency response procedures
  • Monitors for potential threats, suspicious activity, or individuals who may pose a risk to executives
  • Be prepared to respond to security incidents and emergencies, including medical emergencies, security breaches, or hostile encounters
  • Maintains effective communication with executives and team members to ensure smooth operations and security coordination
  • Trained and authorized to carry concealed firearms and ensure compliance with all local, state and federal laws regarding firearms
  • Ability to build and maintain appropriate and effective working relationships with executives and ensure their comfort and trust, and maintain strict confidentiality
  • Participates in skill set development and continued educational trainings
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
  • Performs related duties, as assigned

Education:

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in roles related to security, intelligence, law enforcement or military
  • Must be in compliance with the Lautenberg Amendment and be able to pass a comprehensive background check
  • Possess or able to obtain within 90 days PA ACT 235 Lethal Weapons Training Certification
  • Maintain firearm proficiency and qualifications in accordance with state, local and federal regulations
  • Must be able to work and travel on weekends and holidays as needed

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Prior experience in executive protection
  • Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures
  • Proven ability to work with highly confidential information and interact comfortably with executive level leadership
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under high-stress situations
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Must be able to obtain international travel documents such as a U.S. Passport and possess a valid U.S driver's license
  • Strong physical fitness with capability of working in physically demanding and high-pressure environments
  • Possess or able to obtain CPR AED and Basic first aid certifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Discretion and the ability to interact professionally and respectfully with people
