The Vice President, Design and Construction will oversee the strategic planning, design, and execution of construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The VP will lead a team of professionals and collaborate with various stakeholders to drive innovation and excellence in design and construction.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for design and construction projects
  • Project Management: Oversee the management of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Design Leadership: Provide leadership and direction in the design phase, ensuring innovative and sustainable design solutions
  • Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of construction
  • Budget Management: Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with construction projects
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of design and construction professionals

Required Qualifications:



  • Relevant certifications in project management, design, or construction
  • 15+ years of experience in design and construction, with at least 7+ years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven solid project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, proficiency in design and construction software, and a proven track record of successful project delivery



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Current or prior experience on the Real Estate team
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic plans
  • Innovation: Solid focus on innovation and sustainable design
  • Collaboration: Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and drive change

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $196,600 to $337,100 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
