Dallas, TX - Irving Blvd - Retail shop How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Position: Bulk Gas Sales Specialist
Location: North Texas Territory

You will increase profitable sales of bulk gas products to a specific account base or geographic territory, through your own efforts and in coordination with other sales representatives and account managers. Will also act as a resource in bulk gas sales for others within the company.
  • Represent the company product line to prospects and existing local and national customers. Explain products to customers matching customers' needs with the appropriate products. Quote prices and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained. Estimate delivery date to customer based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules.
  • Demonstrate products and services and explain features of each product and service. Emphasize benefits of Airgas products and services to potential customers.
  • Increase sales and margin profit through penetration to assigned accounts and by closing new accounts.
  • Act as a resource for other sales representatives in developing and maintaining bulk gas product sales within their customer base by assisting them with customer sales calls and providing product and industry training, making appropriate recommendations and presentations. Answer customer inquiries and satisfactorily resolve customer complaints.
  • Report any problems or required maintenance on any installed piece of equipment to supervisor.

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university and at least five (5) years of related experience and/or training or the equivalent.
  • Travel throughout assigned territory with about 25% overnight travel.
  • Valid State Driver's License
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to move/lift up to 20 pounds.
