Location: Canton, OH (AMG) - ASU How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? This position has responsibility for the safe operation and maintenance of Airgas Merchant Gas production facilities. The production technician is responsible for maintaining plant production, operating efficiency, regulatory compliance, and safety. The production technician is responsible for maintaining plant production, operating efficiency, regulatory compliance, and safety. Due to the complexity of the skill sets needed for this position, Production Technician levels have been established to distinguish work performance capabilities and the degree of independence each task is to be performed.
The hourly base pay range for this position in Canton, OH is $28.00 - $31.00. Please note that the hourly base pay information is a general guideline only. Job Description Summary:The Production Plant Technician has the responsibility for the operation and control of equipment used in air separation, vacuum swing absorption and carbon dioxide plants.; also accountability for the care and maintenance of plant mechanical, instrumentation and electrical devices and equipment. The position will provide support to various types of processing plants in order to support startups, training and leave coverage for normal production technicians.
