Job Description

The Sr. Learning & Development Analyst will serve as a trusted thought partner and operational extension of leadership, playing a key role in shaping strategy and driving execution. Reporting Directly to the Director of Learning and Development the Analyst will help translate vision into action-leading key initiatives, solving problems proactively, and ensuring the seamless execution of learning strategies that align with broader business goals. This position supports the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide training and development programs while owning the annual compliance training for the organization. By combining expertise in data analytics, program evaluation, and Learning Management System (LMS) administration, the Analyst helps drive measurable learning outcomes and enhances organizational capability.

KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Launch and Implementation:

  • Lead or support the end-to-end implementation of new learning programs and courses, including needs assessment, stakeholder coordination, and post-launch analysis.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and department leaders to design and roll out relevant and impactful training initiatives.
  • Monitor adoption and engagement levels of newly launched programs and analyze early performance indicators to ensure success.
  • Adjust content, delivery methods, or strategy as needed based on learner feedback and adult learning practices.
  • Ensure new programs are integrated effectively into the LMS and communicated clearly to employees.

Data Analysis, Reporting, and Program Evaluation:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to training programs, employee performance, and organizational learning needs.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to track learning outcomes and program effectiveness.
  • Present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Evaluate existing training programs using both quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and make evidence-based recommendations to enhance training content, delivery methods, and overall program design.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to incorporate innovative evaluation methodologies.

Compliance Training Lead & Learning Management System (LMS) Support:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all corporate compliance training deliverables
  • Partner with Legal, HR, IT, and business leaders to ensure compliance training addresses organizational risk areas and emerging regulatory needs
  • Plan, schedule, and execute annual and ad hoc compliance training rollouts globally or regionally, ensuring timely delivery and participation tracking.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of training records, including participation, completion, and assessment data.
  • Provide technical support, guidance, and training to LMS users.
  • Prepare and distribute regular reports on LMS utilization and training impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the strategic development and implementation of employee learning and development programs that align with organizational goals and drive performance.
  • Lead or contribute to the successful launch of new training initiatives, managing timelines, stakeholder communications, and learner engagement strategies.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track training participation, completion rates, and learning outcomes to inform decision-making.
  • Analyze training data and performance metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Administer and optimize the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for learners across the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, business leaders, and subject matter experts, to design and deliver impactful learning solutions.
  • Stay current on learning technologies, trends, and best practices to recommend innovative approaches that enhance learning effectiveness.
  • Provide consultative support to business units on learning needs, helping to identify and address skill gaps.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational training requirements through accurate tracking and timely reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Education, Business Administration, Data Analytics or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 5 plusyears of experience in learning and development, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, PowerBI, Tableau).
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and e-Learning technologies (Cornerstone OnDemand preferred).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Certification in learning and development, data analysis or project management (e.g., CPTD, ATD, CDA) is a plus.
  • Experience operating in a matrixed environment preferred but not required.
