KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS*

* Prevention/Protection :

Ensure that the Security dispositions are always operational to ensure control of risk on the site (VPs,CPs, tests, equipment checks, round, etc.)

Applies, respects and assures the respecting of the instructions, (internal regulations, Security instructions, managing access and keys, control of people, luggage and vehicles, ...)

Completes and documents PP rounds (Security and Fire)

Verifies, tests and controls Security installations, equipment and tools

Completes PVs and PCs for which they are in charge

Assures implementation and effectiveness of prevention and protection tools to assure the operational control of risks

Takes part in elaboration and implementation of the EP3 process on the Security domain (Operational Control and Emergency Plans) within in the framework of the SMEP

Makes sure that all dispositions are respected to prevent and to contain Security risks

Contributes to the capitalization of the experiences by participating in the analysis of all incidents relating to Security which occur on the site

Monitors and responds to all centralized alarms

Implements any required temporary provisions

Applies Logistic instructions for transporters (weight control, sealing, transport documentation, etc...)

* Intervention:

Intervenes in case of intrusion alarm, disaster or malevolence

Applies the pre-established instructions or the orders when there is an unanticipated event

Employs the reflex sheets, in case of an incident

Evaluates the situation occurring and takes into account the consequences

Alerts the RGEP and the managers in case of a serious anomaly or any persistent or potentially hazardous/serious situation, and applies effective emergency measures, first-aid response included

Participates in operational PP interventions (reception/transmission of alarms, emergency calls, etc. ...)

* Information /Communication:

Ensure the reception (physically or over the phone) as required by Company rules

Informs new arrivals (new hires) about the applicable Security rules on the site

Reception and transmission of incoming phone calls

* Reporting:

Write the logbook and the anomaly reports.

Fill the Fire and Security indicators, follow the evolution and guarantee its quality.

Purpose

Support the business unit in achieving objectives as specified by the plant, while ensuring safety and quality through being an engaged team member

Duties
  • Respond to Plant Emergencies, including providing care to injured employees, chemical spill cleanup, security threats or disturbances, natural disasters, and fires.
  • Operating & Maintaining Fire Systems (fire sprinkler system, pumps, hoses, DIVs & PIVs).
  • Traffic Control, Plant Patrol, Vehicle & Foot Patrol, Investigations, & Mail.
  • Firefighting which includes MET Leader for Crew.
  • Reception and Registration of Plant Visitors Including Switchboard Operations.

  • Job Specific Software
  • Complete Training for Position and Progress within Role
  • Must have SCNREMT certification
  • Must obtain Incident Command & Interior Structural Firefighter, South Carolina First Responder, South Carolina Law Enforcement Division Certifications, and have HAZMAT training. Complete SCFA 1152 course or equivalent.
