The Operations Manager in machinery building (also known as a

manufacturing facility) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities

of the plant, ensuring efficient production, resource management, and

adherence to quality standards. They lead teams of engineers, technicians,

and other staff, managing budgets, and implementing improvements to

optimize the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

Resource Allocation

• Manage manpower, materials, and equipment effectively to meet production targets and minimize costs.

Field Service Management

• Manage the field service team of Kinetic Solutions

Parts Management & Inventory Control

Team Leader - Project Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, technicians, and other staff, providing guidance and support.

Safety and Compliance

• Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and quality.

Financial Management

• Manage budgets, track costs, and ensure responsible resource allocation.

Reporting and Analysis

• Prepare and present operational reports to executive management, analyzing performance and identifying areas for improvement.

Risk Management

• Identify and manage operational risks and opportunities, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the facility.

Coordination

• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, procurement, and sales, to achieve company objectives.

Required Education, Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or equivalent demonstrated
• experience
• Prior management and manufacturing experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Excellent team-building and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional team members
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other industry software
• Superb work ethic and ability to accept feedback
• Willingness to work extended hours when required
