Tasks:
- Support the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of a life-cycle security model that develops, maintains, and dispositions information systems, services, and data, and safeguards their confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
- The ISSO Sr. coordinates with system owners to ensure systems are operated and maintained in accordance with security policies and practices and reports all information system security incidents through the appropriate FBI channels.
- Some of the applications and tool sets that are currently being used to perform the ISSO support functions are Joint Cybersecurity Authorization Management (JCAM), Telos Xacta, GITLAB, Atlassian JIRA, Atlassian Confluence, SharePoint, Splunk, BigFix, and Tenable Security Center.
- Responsible for supporting additional applications and tool sets as needed.
- Required to provide input regarding Interconnection Security Agreement (ISA) and Security Assessment Reports on an as needed basis.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree
- Cloud Certification
- Experience: 6 years of relevant experience
- Experience with National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST), Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP), Common Criteria, Defense Information Security Agency (DISA) and SANS Institute
- Experience working in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) development environments
- Demonstrated level of experience in information security practices within the federal and/or state governments
- Previous hands-on technical experience demonstrated in networking, system administration, and development
- Working knowledge of continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Pipelines Virtualization, software-defined infrastructure
- Working knowledge of cloud computing technologies.
