About the role

Reworld is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Manager of National Accounts to join our Sales Leadership team as we expand our National Accounts Program. This individual will be instrumental in leading key sales initiatives, managing complex, high-value enterprise relationships, and driving the continued growth of Reworld's portfolio across multiple verticals. The ideal candidate brings a consultative sales approach, proven success in developing large national accounts, and the leadership presence to influence both internally and externally at the executive level.

Reporting to the Director of National Sales - Corporate, this senior role will act as a strategic advisor to national clients, with ownership over revenue generation, contract negotiation, client retention, and expanding multi-site and multi-service engagements. This is a critical role in Reworld's enterprise growth strategy and long-term vision for industry growth and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Leadership
    Lead strategic growth and retention efforts for a $30M+ national account portfolio, identifying opportunities to expand revenue, add new strategic campaign pursuits, add new direct customer locations, and increase share of wallet through tailored environmental solutions.
  • Executive Client Engagement
    Cultivate high-impact relationships with C-suite and senior stakeholders within Fortune 500 accounts. Deliver compelling presentations and align Reworld's ESG solutions with the client's long-term business objectives.
  • Solution-Oriented Sales Execution
    Utilize a consultative and data-driven sales approach to design, present, and implement complex, multi-year environmental service agreements (MSAs). Leverage Reworld's full suite of solutions including waste disposal, recycling, liquids management, and sustainability waste solutions methodology.
  • Team Collaboration & Leadership Support
    Partner closely with Program Director of National Accounts, Customer Care, Solutions Sales Managers, Operations, Waste Approval, and Legal teams to ensure best-in-class customer delivery. Mentor peers and contribute to onboarding and capability-building within the National Accounts team, including sales training at the regional levels, to assist in operational bench strength.
  • Program Development
    Support the development and implementation of innovative go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and customer engagement tools that drive national expansion.
  • Pipeline & Forecast Management
    Maintain a strong opportunity pipeline through proactive engagement, CRM/Salesforce tracking, and rigorous forecasting. Report on trends, risks, and wins to leadership with actionable insights.
  • Contract & Commercial Expertise
    Lead high-value, complex contract negotiations with a focus on long-term profitability and client alignment. Ensure compliance with internal processes, including credit, pricing, documentation, and legal terms.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree required in Business, Environmental Science, Marketing, or related field; MBA or relevant graduate degree strongly preferred and/or:
    • Experience:
    • 10+ years of progressive sales or account leadership experience, with at least 5 years focused on enterprise/national accounts.
    • Proven success managing large portfolios ($30M+), negotiating MSAs, and closing complex B2B contracts in environmental services or a related industry.
    • Demonstrated ability to grow existing relationships and secure new logos through strategic, consultative selling.
  • Skills:
    • Executive presence with exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities.
    • Data-driven mindset with experience using Salesforce and other CRMs for pipeline management and forecasting.
    • Strong commercial acumen and ability to align Reworld's capabilities with client-specific ESG goals and sustainability mandates.
    • Self-motivated, self-disciplined, highly organized, and effective in a remote work environment.
    • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.
