Accounts Payable Specialist Location: Westmont, IL (On-site, 5 days a week) Company: JLL About JLL Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is a leading global professional services firm specializing in real estate and investment management. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in our Westmont, IL office. This role is responsible for processing accounts payable transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures. Job Responsibilities Process various types of accounts payable transactions including data entry of vendor invoices, manual and emergency check requests Answer property inquiries via e-mail and phone in a timely and professional manner Understand and comply with all JLL A/P policies and procedures Monitor and enforce compliance by all JLL employees involved in the A/P process in respect to standard A/P policies and procedures Perform various other duties as assigned by a supervisor Assist in training of new A/P employees as needed Communicate effectively with internal and external customers and vendors as needed Qualifications Two years of A/P or accounting related experience preferred High School degree required, College degree desirable with some accounting coursework Experience in an electronic accounts payable processing environment preferred Computer system skills including Microsoft software Knowledge of A/P systems desirable, including Yardi Key Competencies Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines Willingness and ability to accept responsibility Strong oral and written communication skills Flexibility in completing job responsibilities as priorities change Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail Collaborative team player mentality Availability to work overtime when required Work Environment Full-time position based in our Westmont, IL office On-site work schedule, 5 days per week Professional office environment What We Offer Competitive compensation and benefits package Professional development opportunities Collaborative team environment Opportunity to work with a global leader in real estate services JLL is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.
