Customer Service Representative

Pay Rate: $21.77/hour

Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Full-time)

Location: 100% onsite during training; hybrid schedule available post-training


Position Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as a primary liaison between Evident and its internal and external customers. You will be responsible for managing order entry, providing timely support, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role plays a key part in order fulfillment, acting as the customer's voice within the organization.


Key Responsibilities


  • Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding Evident products, ensuring prompt and professional communication.



  • Accurately process B2B orders, including Sales Orders, in SAP with a high level of detail and accuracy.



  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer data in CRM systems such as Salesforce.



  • Collaborate with internal departments (Order Fulfillment, Planning, Manufacturing, Finance, and Shipping) to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution.



  • Follow up on all transactions to confirm timely and accurate fulfillment of customer requests.



  • Proactively address order-related issues, demonstrating ownership and urgency in resolution.



  • Provide professional phone and email support with a customer-first attitude.



  • Consistently meet individual and team KPIs on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.



  • Support special projects and process improvements as assigned.




Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:




  • High school diploma or GED required



  • 3-5 years of experience in a business environment; customer service experience preferred



  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and prioritization skills



  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-centric approach



  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications



  • Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems




Preferred:




  • Experience with SAP ERP for order processing



  • Experience with Salesforce CRM



  • Prior experience in B2B order processing, including:




    • Order entry via online platforms, email, or EDI



    • Order lifecycle management and inventory coordination



    • Shipping and logistics coordination



    • Invoice and payment processing



    • Customer relationship management and support






Additional Notes:

This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. A background in handling B2B customer interactions and technical systems (SAP, Salesforce) is highly preferred.
