Staff Accountant Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experiencedStaff Accountant to join their accounting team. This role is responsible for supporting the full general ledger cycle, billing and invoicing processes, and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate will have strong order-to-cash experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. Responsibilities: Perform daily and monthly general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries, intercompany transactions, and account reconciliations. Manage billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Serve as a liaison to the sales team, supporting customer account setup, credit evaluations, and collections. Monitor accounts receivable and assist with customer payment issues, refunds, and write-offs. Prepare and post monthly sales journal adjustments and barter entries. Assist with month-end close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and cash entries. Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency. Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal controls. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a multi-division or mid-sized organization. Strong understanding of the order-to-cash cycle and general ledger accounting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with Oracle Cloud or similar ERP systems is a plus. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset. Preferred Experience: Experience in real estate or related industries. Familiarity with Oracle, ADP, and other accounting software systems. Exposure to intercompany accounting and multi-entity environments.
