Your Opportunity:Taylor Corporation is seeking a Production Team Lead who is responsible for overseeing a team of employees, ensuring that team goals are met while fostering a positive and productive work environment. This role includes coordinating daily activities, providing support and guidance, and facilitating communication between team members and management.

Your Shift:

  • 2nd Shift; Monday - Friday, 2pm - 10pm

Your Responsibilities:

  • Practice the Taylor Core Values
  • Inform the Supervisor of jobs in jeopardy of missing a due date
  • Guide and motivate team members to achieve their objectives and maintain high performance
  • Serve as the main point of contact between team members and upper management, facilitating clear and effective communication
  • Monitor individual and team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to enhance skills and productivity
  • Oversee team projects, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld
  • Identify training needs and support the professional growth of team members
  • Address any issues or conflicts within the team, providing solutions and support as needed
  • Prepare and present team performance reports to management
  • Address daily employee questions and give guidance
  • Preform assigned operational duties to the standards

    You Must Have:

    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
    • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
    • Ability to work collaboratively, adapt to changing situations, and inspire others
    • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in manufacturing

    Requirements Within This position:

    • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
    • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
    • Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
    • Frequently required to move inside the facility
    • Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

    We Would Also Prefer:

    • An associate's degree or its equivalent and experience in the field or in a related area

    The anticipated hourly range for this position is $25.00 - 32.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
