About the Role We are offering an internship starting 01.10.2025 where you get the chance to support our Footwear R&D team in technology development, testing and user trial projects for at least 6 months in Feldkirchen-Westerham, greater Munich. In close collaboration with your colleagues, you work on innovations in the field of GORE-TEX Footwear Constructions, to make our products even more attractive. Responsibilities Support your team in the development and implementation of various products or test methods, also in collaboration with different business areas Proactively take care of the optimization of existing test methods in order to analyze the performance and parameters of our innovations Coordinate and carry out user trials after appropriate training and onboarding, meaning taking over full responsibility for the planning, organization and execution of user trials Communicate closely with the testers, take care of the logistics and the questionnaire Support your team in the evaluation and statistical analysis of the data obtained from the tests in order to be able to make a statement about product performance Take on product oriented sub-projects independently and accompany them through different stages Qualifications Enrolled in sports engineering, sports equipment with technical affinity, mechanical engineering, material science, textile engineering or a similar degree program You speak fluent English and good German You are a team player, but you can also promote projects independently You approach tasks structured and have the "spirit of research" Having some experience with Statistical Software (SPSS, R, JMP, Minitab) is a plus Ideally you are passionate about outdoor sports like running That's what you've got to look forward to: Join a highly motivated team and a great working atmosphere An interesting and challenging opportunity with an international focus A very good compensation An experienced Sponsor who will help you with advice and support Sports activities, work-life-balance, free coffee, tea and fruits, a subsidized canteen and more Our success is based on the capability and creativity of our Associates, and we are proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive total rewards program that supports your everyday and helps you build your tomorrow.
