*Description*
Act as the client's expert in large-scale networking. Must be proficient with routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF. Designs, plans, implements, and supports the corporate network and infrastructure plan. Manages small to medium sized projects according to documented budget and schedule. Serve as lead technical staff in course of networking projects and activities. Assists with technology planning through ongoing research. Plan and implement network security methods, including configuring firewalls and other related infrastructure. Identify utilization patterns and their effect on operations and systems stability. Raise performance exceptions or concerns to management. Document network problems and resolutions. Anticipate network and communications problems and implement preventative measures. Create, update and maintain all network documentation including company disaster recovery procedures, hardware and software configuration for all networking infrastructure. Configure and maintain corporate Network monitoring systems. Participate with a team of technical staff and managers or business unit to determine technical systems requirements and functionalities needed in large/complex networking projects. Works with internal and external customers to gather requirements in order to meet corporate networking needs. Assess and develop high-level design requirements for projects and communicate in writing or in meetings with the networking team. Assess detailed specifications against design requirements. Must have proficient knowledge of telecommunication systems and protocols including H323 and SIP. Designs, plans, implements, and maintains corporate telecommunications systems. Serve as lead technical staff in course of telecommunications projects and activities. Create, update, and maintain all telecommunications documentation including company disaster recovery procedures, hardware, and software configuration for all telecommunications infrastructure. Works with internal and external customers to gather requirements to meet corporate telecommunications needs. Familiarity in tier 1 UCaaS solutions, mid-range on-premises phone systems (Toshiba, Panasonic, etc.) SDWAN, Switching and other networking tools. Pragmatic, personable with very clear and efficient communication style and client interaction skills. PMP, Agile, ITIL certifications a plus but not required Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and follow-through, coupled with the ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously. Cisco Meraki and Microsoft Teams Voice implementation and management required. *Skills* Network engineering, cisco meraki, Cisco, Azure Networking, Azure vNets, MS Teams Voice, Firewall *Additional Skills & Qualifications* In depth knowledge of deploying, maintaining, and expanding MS Teams Voice is preferred but not required. An active Cisco CCNA or CCENT certification is preferred. Preferred: - CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) - CTNS (TCO) Certified Telecommunications Network Specialist *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
