As part of our Agency New Business Sales team, you will drive new business opportunities for Dice by selling our solutions to new and existing recruitment advertising agency partners. We are a focused, driven team positioned for growth - your contributions and dedication will make a huge impact on our small team. About the role:
As a Senior Account Executive - Agency, you will make an immediate impact developing new business logo growth through existing recruitment advertising agencies as well as opening doors to new agencies, as applicable. You will initiate and deliver sales proposals and demonstrations with key decision makers and stakeholders and negotiate/overcome objections to close deals. You will build and maintain a sales pipeline for future business to meet all monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets Why we're hiring for this role:
This role will help expand our existing agency relationships and new agency relationships to grow the Dice footprint. This role directly impacts revenue for yourself, the team, and for DHI. In the short term you will:
- Follow a consultative sales methodology to position all our products and services to help potential prospects and inactive accounts achieve their hiring goals
- Convert new business from leads driven by marketing, sales development, networking as well as through cold calling/self generation to exceed your quota goals
- Forecast expected monthly results accurately
In the long term you will:
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, yearly quotas
- Grow agency channel revenue and uncover growth opportunities on a recurring basis
What you bring to the team:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field or equivalent experience
- Proven new business sales experience where a significant portion of compensation is tied to sales/quota attainment, preferably in the recruitment/digital advertising markets
- Ability to develop and maintain accurate forecasts throughout the month/quarter/year
- Knowledgeable of recruitment media trends and employer branding media solutions
- Conversant in talent acquisition technology, process, funnel metrics, and KPIs
- Advanced ability to communicate and negotiate professionally and effectively, in-person, over the phone and in writing
- Ability to develop relationships with all levels/teams within an agency, including decision makers
- Ability to build client presentations and track performance metrics
- Ambition, perseverance, patience and professional persistence to ensure success throughout the sales cycle
- A team player with a desire to collaborate with other internal teams to win
- Desire and resourceful to stay current with competitors, industry trends, and market changes/opportunities in order to fuel your sales strategy
- Positive attitude, driven, competitive, sense of urgency, goals oriented and willingness to learn
- Proficiency with Salesforce & Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT, etc.)
Preferred:
- Similar experience within the industry at another media, partner, agency, etc.
- Knowledge of the talent acquisition technology space and recruitment industry
- Existing successful relationships with contacts within recruitment advertising agencies
Des Moines pay range: Base salary/pay plus commissions per year at 100% of plan targets. Offer will depend on location and level of job-related knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.
