The Ranish Group is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate II to conduct research investigating how hematopoietic stem cells differentiate into mature red blood cells. To accomplish this goal, the lab is developing mass spectrometry-based technology to quantify the transcription factor proteome in purified populations of differentiating erythroid cells. The data will be used to model the transcriptional regulatory networks underlying this process. The models will guide future experiments to understand how specific transcription factors drive cell fate decisions. Key responsibilities include
Qualifications:
Research Associate III title will be considered depending on experience. All ISB staff members are expected to have baseline technical skills and the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately over email, the intranet/forum, etc. Employees should be able to use Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint at a functional level.
