Job Description |
The Harford Sports Complex Support Staff assists with daily operations of community recreational sports programs at the Thomas Run Park complex. Works on-site, part-time, hourly as needed. Schedule includes day, evening, and weekend hours. Total hours fluctuate by sports season.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States, as the College does not offer Visa sponsorship for this position
Employees of Harford Community College, including instructors for online and virtual courses, must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia; non-residents are expected to relocate to meet this requirement. |
Required Education |
High school diploma or
GED required. |
Required Experience |
Minimum of one year of related experience in an athletic support or similar role |
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities |
- Ability to prepare fields for specific use and recondition fields between games.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to identify and report equipment in need of repair or replacement.
- Proficiency with computers in a Windows-based environment.
- Ability to recognize and report policy violations or suspicious activity to security.
- Equivalent combination of technical training, education, and/or relevant experience will be considered.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including prolonged sitting, standing, walking, occasional lifting of light materials or equipment may be required
