We're hiring a Commercial Loan Insurance Supervisor to join our Loan Operations Team in Souderton. Please note, this position will become hybrid after the initial training period. Responsibilities Serve as direct supervisor of Commercial Insurance Servicing team, including but not limited to monthly one on one meetings, performance goal tracking, and annual review process. Responsible for organizing and completing onboarding and training of new team members. Accountable for interpreting and translating complex insurance documents (hazard, flood, general liability, builder's risk, property and condo insurance) to ensure the Bank's collateral position is protected and to reduce losses or lender liability. Responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive procedures to reinforce bank policies, operational processes, and regulatory requirements. Serve as lead point of contact for insurance tracking vendor, monitoring the health of the relationship, adherence to regulatory requirements, compliance and bank policies. Monitor tracking reports for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies in a timely fashion. Research and provide actionable advice, consultative guidance and subject-matter expertise to all lending and loan operations personnel related to insurance compliance, coverage, and documentation throughout all phases of lending and loan operations processes. Partner with Compliance teams to provide oversight, governance and support for all provisions of the National Flood Insurance Program including timely and accurate determinations, adequate coverage verification, tracking of new and renewal policies, and monitoring flood map changes. Monitor daily maintenance and exception reports and make corrections as necessary to ensure all insurance related documents and correspondence are input to into core operating system, insurance tracking vendor system, and document imaging systems as required. Responsible for overseeing work queues and incoming requests, ensuring all are completed in a timely fashion with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance. Responsible for ongoing training of team members. Stay current on compliance related activity by attending webinars and reading regulatory updates. Communicate changes to the team in a timely fashion and update any applicable procedures or policies in a timely fashion. Compile statistic and evaluation reports to be distributed to the department manager, performing strategic review of data to submit process, procedure, or staffing changes as required. Assist with all project initiatives involving insurance tracking and servicing. Assist with internal and external Audit requests by providing requested samples and documentation related to all insurance monitoring processes and flood insurance compliance. Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Equivalent 5 years of Commercial Insurance or Loan Operations experience General knowledge of financial services with a focus on loan products Strong knowledge of insurance practices related to hazard, general liability, builder's risk, property, and flood insurance Ability to read, comprehend and discern consumer, commercial and mortgage insurance documents for determining and monitoring required insurance coverage amounts Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to work independently, prioritize, and multi-task under tight time constraints Strong problem-solving and customer service skills with the ability to communicate in a professional manner both verbally and in writing Experience with Jack Henry or equivalent banking systems, Microsoft Suite and Salesforce preferred Wage Range: The salary for this position ranges from $55,000 to $70,000 Benefits Overview: Univest offer's a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
