Job Description
Kearney & Company is seeking a highly skilled Data Visualization Consultant to join our team supporting one of the Federal government's largest agencies! Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Development of reports and dashboards using a combination of Qlik Sense and Databricks
- Working closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, and IT, to understand report requirements
- Demonstrating excellent writing and communication skills as significant time is spent reviewing report requirements, briefing updates to clients, and supporting the documentation and training for new reports
- Demonstrating strong customer service skills and the ability to work in occasional high-pressure situations with short deadlines
- Directing and reviewing the work of Senior Associates
- Communicating status of project-related tasks to Team Lead and client
LOCATION(s): Washington DC Metro Area
- Work location may be in the office, but because we are a client facing organization, typically you can expect to be at client sites.
- You may have the opportunity to work virtually/remotely in the U.S. depending on business needs and is always subject to change. This is not determined until closer to start date.
- Travel opportunities may be presented (depending on client to client)
- As a reminder, this position is not guaranteed to be in person 5 days a week. Work schedules and client needs vary from engagement to engagement and is always subject to change. Kearney does an incredible job with the communication of changes should they arise with advance notice.
Qualifications
- BA/BS/BBA degree from an accredited college/university major in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
- Mininum of 4 years of progressive, relevant experience using leading data visualization technologies (Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, etc.)
- Experience with using programming languages like Python and PySpark to process data in preparation for dashboards/visualizations
- Experience with Federal Financial Management concepts and reporting
- Experience working with the DoD stakeholders
- Polished communication skills for clients
- Active Interim Secret Clearance at minimum required (requires U.S. citizenship)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing reports and views in Databricks and/or Qlik
- Experience working with DoD's Advanced Analytics (Advana) platform
- Familiarity with Palantir Foundry development and reporting
- Experience with SQL, Python, and Databricks for data querying and scripting
- Experience with developing, reporting, and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

The expected salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $140,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
