We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Continuous Improvement Leader to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with employee teams to identify, implement, and sustain practical and effective solutions that meet the needs of our customers and employees. This role requires a strong technical and quality related background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and work well with cross-functional teams.

What you'll be doing:

  • Collect, analyze, and summarize quality and operational data to identify areas for improvement and measure performance
  • Have direct oversight of the Quality Coordinator, working to verify adherence to quality standards, legal regulations, and customer requirements
  • Drive Customer Experience. Build strong customer relationships - including frequent conversations, team meetings, and occasional travel to customer sites
  • Manage the development and maintenance of the quality testing/reporting system.
  • Responsible for the management of the quality specifications, records, test methods, instructions, and audit processes.
  • Lead projects focused on identifying and eliminating quality defects
  • Design and develop technical solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and troubleshooting of production and quality issues.
  • Implement Lean, Six Sigma, or other improvement methodologies which involve using tools and techniques like value stream mapping, kaizen events, and root cause analysis
  • Facilitate plantwide Continuous Improvement team activities, including action plan development and completion, providing monthly and quarterly updates, and coaching/mentoring other team leaders
  • Lead plant 5S efforts
  • Promote a mindset of continuous learning. Seek out opportunities for improvement throughout the plant

This position is in our Richmond, VA location

We'd love to hear from you if:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Engineer, Quality Engineer, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Compensation:

Coordinator III - Plant SPS: The annual base salary range for this role is from $70,080 to $78,840.

Coordinator II - Plant SPS: The annual base salary range for this role is from $84,640 to $95,220.

Coordinator - Plant SPS: The annual base salary range for this role is from $104,400 to $117,450, plus a monthly target bonus of 12.5% of base salary.
