We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant. This role will have a strong focus on journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a keen eye for detail, and enjoys contributing to the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities



  • Execute month-end close activities, including preparing and posting high-volume journal entries for accruals, prepaids, revenue, and expenses.
  • Perform general ledger account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements, internal reporting, and the development of budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor and escalate overdue accounts while maintaining professional communication with customers and internal teams.
  • Prepare and distribute regular AR and GL reports to internal stakeholders, identifying trends and providing recommendations for process improvement.
  • Maintain and update documentation of accounting procedures and internal controls to support accuracy and compliance.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience, GL and month end close.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and standard accounting procedures.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a collaborative team.
