Responsibilities:

Responsible for leadership and management oversight of the implementation, operational execution, achieving financial results, sustained growth, and strategic planning of the BGS Nuclear Solutions business unit (BU).

Demonstrated Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or related education. An MBA is preferred.
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the department's strategy, ensuring alignment with overall company strategic goals.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, driving continuous improvement in efficiency and performance.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic vision and plans for advanced reactor deployment, fuel cycle services, and lifecycle support.
  • Business Development: Expand market presence across DOE, other federal agencies, and commercial sectors by leveraging strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and internal capabilities. Drive sustained growth. Deep understanding of the nuclear value chain.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, analyze financial performance, drive cost improvement initiatives, deliver value creation and achieve profitability.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of managers, engineers, scientists, and project managers to achieve departmental goals, objectives, and commitments.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including nuclear safety and environmental standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with departmental operations and projects.
  • Successful drug screen.
