Licensed Practical Nurse - Research Fairfax, VA Pay From: $26 per hour MUST: The Licensed Practical Nurse will have experience: Strong clinical skills Phlebotomy experience Ability to give injections IV Management Port Access Obtain vitals Strong knowledge of medications Process prescriptions Must have strong experience utilizing EMR (Electronic Medical Records) Good communication and business acumen skills DUTIES: Receive medicine from the pharmacy to verify prescriptions for patients Report to clinical coordinator or practice administrator Room patients and obtain vitals and histories Assist physician in exam room Enter and update patient information into Electronic Medical Records Give instructions to patients as instructed by physician or physician assistant Ensure all related reports, labs and information is filed is available in patients' medical records prior to their appointment Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, prepare sterilization as required Triage and process messages from patients and front office staff to physicians and physician assistants All other duties as assigned by clinical coordinator or practice administrator Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
