Job Summary
The Jr. Marketing Manager will develop, implement the marketing strategy of assigned market (sub) segment and realize the agreed results. They will also align with existing strategies on BG or segment level and strategies developed by other functions.

Essential Functions



  • Responsible for the ownership of law enforcement strategy; expand and regularly update and track metrics of strategy, both near and long term.
  • Identify and implement plan of action to increase the Dyneema brand presence at key LE industry events.
  • Strengthen and expand channel partnerships
  • Contribute to building brand recognition and establishing the company as a unique and trusted provider of ballistic materials within the law enforcement community.
  • Continuously reshaping the marketing strategy to cope with changing business environment, especially growing competition; fine tuning and steering the marketing mixes of the various platforms/PMC 's, including the over-all pricing policy for portfolio, exchange rates, communication mix, etc.
  • Defines new applications and products
  • Coordination over various disciplines and getting things done without the availability of authority
  • Setting priorities and claiming/allocating resources in the whole, matrix oriented, organization with right balances between long and short term objectives
  • Creating business stability while working in a volatile market
  • Understand decision making process at customer/end user level
  • Understand dynamics of value chain
  • Complex global market structure
  • Show behavior in line with the SHE and Security risks and agree controls, including being compliant to Avient Protective Materials requirements, rules and procedures
  • Address any person behaving in a SHE and Security irresponsible way
  • Report any SHE and Security incidents (including observed risks) to management
  • Must strive to behave in line with Avient Protective Materials Values, supporting and encouraging colleagues in their alignment with our Values. Aspires to demonstrate exemplary behavior with respect to the Avient Protective Materials Values inside and outside the organization.

Education and Experience



  • Academic Level - Technical and commercial
  • AIM and SMC Course or similar
  • Good relation skills
  • Visionary
  • Sensitive discretion in a "classified" market
  • Political Flair
  • Analytical skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Able to work in multiple cultures
  • Marketing and Sales experience from BtB market in an international environment.
  • Relation building experience.
  • Extensive global marketing knowledge and experience.
  • Leading multi-disciplinary and multicultural teams.
  • Preferably experience with commodity markets
  • Preferably experience with NBD
