The College of Nursing is a leader in nursing education for more than 40 years. UCF College of Nursing is doing MORE to ensure a healthier future for all. With a new, permanent home at UCF's Academic Health Sciences Center, we will have more space to prepare more Knight nurses with academic excellence and more opportunity to impact more lives with innovative, interdisciplinary research.

The Opportunity:

The postdoctoral scholar will work with the PI and faculty to conduct research activities, data analysis, preparing manuscripts, presentation, and assisting in the preparation of additional grant applications and other activities related to research as needed. This position will be located at the UCF Lake Nona campus and is anticipated to start October 1, 2025.

Responsibilities:


  • Participate in research activities.
  • Attend a grant writing workshop, participate in a research workshop and attend courses related to advanced statistics.
  • Present at the conferences to build research connections with other disciplines
  • Write and submit manuscripts for publication. Assist in the preparation of additional grant applications and other activities related to research as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must have been awarded a Ph.D. by the time they begin the appointment from an accredited institution

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Strong methodological and statistical skills.
  • Previous experience in grant writing, research publications and working in a team setting.
  • High research interest in technology, AI, aging, behavioral health, public health or related fields.
