DIRECTV FOR BUSINESS is looking for a dedicated and organized team member to support and grow within the Commercial Marketing team. You are a fast learner who is willing to take direction but also shows initiative and can work independently on projects. You show a strong work ethic and strive to continually learn and grow your marketing skills. The role will assist with the Commercial indirect marketing team's vendor relations, support efforts on a variety of marketing campaigns and tactic creation, as well as manage weekly dealer communication and dealer marketing programs.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

    Assist with L&I dealer marketing tactic updates bi-annually with each offer update, including but not limited to sell sheets, brochures, web assets, email templates, and fact sheets.
  • Assist with the management and inventory fulfilment of the DIRECTV Business Market e-commerce website. Work with vendor partners throughout the year to procure merchandise and keep products in-stock. Provide suggestions for new items to carry and to remove merchandise that is not moving.
  • Manage weekly dealer communication newsletter by working with internal stakeholders to collect and edit articles and with our agency partner to facilitate deployment in accordance with the established schedule.
  • Develop bi-weekly content for the L&I dealer social media program including creative design and copy writing for posts. Work with cross-functional partners, including the Sports Marketing and Social Media teams, to leverage existing assets.
  • Manage both the Commercial and L&I instances of the DIRECTV Business Sales and Marketing Center (BSMC) by performing monthly audits to ensure posted tactics, links and information are up to date and accurate. Site management will also include the addition and removal of tactics to the Commercial and L&I BSMC sites and their respective Marketing Center platforms on an as-needed basis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners and vendors to support various indirect marketing programs, including but not limited to the Event Engine and Event Geofence campaigns.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2-5 years' experience working with creative agencies on end-to-end tactic and campaign design, copywriting, and management across multiple media types, including but not limited to email, direct mail, social media, display, evet marketing, and trade advertising.
  • 2-5 years' experience with vendor management, including a developed knowledge of project management and timelines, working with various online platforms both as an end user and as an administrator, and managing inputs from multiple stakeholders.
  • 2-5 years' experience in marketing and advertising, business-to-business marketing preferred, with attention to email, direct mail, social media, display, event marketing, and trade advertising.
  • 2-5 years' experience with merchandise procurement and supply management, with a passion for staying on top of trends.

  • Self-motivated and able to work with regular check-ins and supervision from department leaders or teammates to communicate back progress and updates.
