Genesis10 is currently seeking an EUC Engineer with our Insurance Agency client. This is a 3 month + 100% Remote contract (with the potential to extend).
Summary:
Digital Workplace Engineer / IT Support Technician with expertise in End User Computing (EUC) and hands-on experience in enterprise IT project rollouts. This role is responsible for advanced troubleshooting, technical support, and deployment of enterprise IT solutions. The ideal candidate will be a go-to expert for escalated technical issues and will play a key role in supporting desktop, laptop, thin-client environments, and cloud-based solutions with a focus on Microsoft 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, Dell Wyse thin clients, Intune, Windows Autopilot, and enterprise security tools.
This is an ideal role for an experienced IT Technician looking to expand into enterprise-level IT projects while continuing to provide high-level technical support.
Key Understanding and Responsibilities:
- End User Support & Technical Troubleshooting.
- Provide technical support for enterprise IT environments.
- Troubleshoot issues related to Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams), Active Directory, and Azure AD (Entra ID).
- Support and configure Dell Wyse ThinOS environments, troubleshooting connectivity, performance, and security settings.
- Provide hardware and software support for Dell Latitude, OptiPlex, and Precision series desktops and laptops.
- Resolve workstation related network connectivity issues (VPN, Wi-Fi, LAN) and troubleshoot. Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Citrix environments.
Project Rollouts & Deployment Support:
- Assist with large-scale IT rollouts, including:
- Windows 11 upgrades and migrations.
- Microsoft 365 deployments and migrations (Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Teams).
- Dell Wyse thin client implementations and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) rollouts with Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
- Software deployments via Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and Windows Autopilot.
- Office relocations and new site IT infrastructure deployments.
- Perform PC image building and deployment using Microsoft Hyper V, Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, SCCM, MDT, Macrium, & Acronis.
- Configure and troubleshoot Group Policy (GPO) settings for enterprise environments.
- Assist in the standardization of IT service delivery across multiple office locations and remote workforces.
IT Service Desk & Operational Support:
- Act as a technical lead for Service Desk escalations.
- Provide remote and on-site support using tools like QuickAssist, Microsoft Remote Desktop, and BeyondTrust.
- Administer Active Directory (AD) and Azure AD (Entra ID) user accounts, security groups, and access policies.
- Manage end-user access permissions in Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and SharePoint.
- Utilize ITSM tools like ServiceNow or Track-It to manage and resolve tickets efficiently.
Security & Compliance Support:
- Understand and Use security tools ensuring endpoint compliance with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Intune.
- Support legal and compliance discovery requests, assisting with audits and security reviews.
- Implement BitLocker encryption, Windows Hello for Business, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) policies.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, desktop administration, or Level 2/3 technical support.
- Strong troubleshooting experience with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and Azure AD (Entra ID).
- Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Dell Wyse ThinOS, Windows Autopilot, and Intune.
- Proficiency in Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise network troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting hardware from Dell, including Latitude, OptiPlex, and Precision series.
- Familiarity with Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop, or other virtual desktop environments.
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting is a plus.
- Strong experience using enterprise security/compliance tools such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Experience working with enterprise IT ticketing systems like ServiceNow.

Pay rate range: $45.00 - $54.00 hourly.
