Overview The Technology COO organization at Salesforce is dedicated to driving operational excellence and innovation across our technology teams. We support a broad range of functions including Content Experience, Learning & Enablement, Agile teams and more. Our mission is to empower the Technology organization with the programs, enablement, data, tools, and insights they need to succeed. As a Director/ Senior Director of Engineering in the Accelerated Engineering team, you will provide technical leadership and strategic direction for a software engineering team dedicated to advancing the productivity of the TechCOO organization. This role demands a deep understanding of modern technology stacks and engineering principles, with an ability to drive the development and adoption of innovative, AI-driven solutions that meet the complex and evolving needs of Salesforce's growing Technology organization. Experience with Salesforce technologies (including Agentforce, Data Cloud, and Heroku) is a plus, but your expertise in building scalable, high-performance systems is paramount. You will be responsible for cultivating a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement, fostering an environment where practices like mob programming and test-driven development flourish at scale. This includes mentoring and empowering engineering leaders, building trusted relationships with key stakeholders across engineering, product, and executive teams, and collectively defining and executing a roadmap for elegant, performant, and high-quality solutions. Your exceptional oral and written communication skills will be critical in articulating technical strategy, influencing outcomes, and representing the team's contributions across the organization. For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $211,500 to $351,800. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $230,800 to $384,100. |
