Quality Technician I, 2nd shift

Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eager Quality Technician I. This role ensures the quality of industrial processes, materials, and products. Under direct supervision, the position will be responsible for inspecting, training, and maintaining quality levels. Location: In office, Staunton VA

Shift: 2nd shift, 2 pm-10 pm

What you will do:

• Understand and adhere to company quality control procedures, as related to overall inspection requirements
• Cooperate with production personnel and supervision to ensure the maximum of production with the optimum of quality, as established by management
• Inspect incoming, in-process, and outgoing material, parts, and assemblies to specifications and blueprints following standard shop practice and/or special instructions
• Train other employees in day-to-day procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Vocational or Technical degree in Quality Assurance or related field
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

• The typical salary for this position ranges from $19.38-$29.95 in Virginia. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
