The Electro-mechanical Assembler performs electronic and mechanical assembly, software installation, and testing for Econolite's traffic controller products. The successful candidate must have some experience with assembling electrical components or comfortable with electrical parts - someone who likes breaking things and then repairing them.

DUTIES

  • Prepare and submit timely monthly financial reporting packages in accordance with GAAP (includes consolidating international and domestic subsidiaries financial statements)
  • Work with subsidiaries to confirm, reconcile intercompany for eliminations entries.
  • Must have experience with strong balance sheet recs, Intercompany, Foreign exchange rates (fx), good to have inventory.
  • Prepare all journal entries and perform balance sheet accounts reconciliations.
  • Prepare schedules as needed (accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, etc.)
  • Audit expense reports: ensure the appropriate documentation supports expenditures.
  • Prepare monthly inventory turn and reserves analysis, including proposed adjustment entries.
  • Variance analysis
  • Work with gross margin analysis
  • Documentation of processes and analyses.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting
  • 7+ years of solid accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
  • CPA, MBA is not a requirement, but a strong plus
  • Must be able to consolidate information, analyze data and make recommendations to facilitate senior management decision making.
  • Ability to work independently and use sound judgement and decision making to influence business decisions.
  • Proactive approach to identify opportunities to improve departmental and/or business operations.
  • Computer literate with advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills a must.
  • Ability to work with multi-currencies.

BUSINESS TRAVEL

Moderate business travel is required on an average of 25% when and as needed.

COMPENSATION

The base pay range for this full-time exempt position is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 annually plus benefits. Pay ranges are determined by various factors, including role, experience, and location. The pay range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base pay rates for this position. Within the range, actual individual compensation is determined by various factors, including location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
