Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Some evenings and weekends may be required based on clinic needs (on-call)

A Brief Overview The Operations Supervisor is a position requiring professional skills, organizational skills and sound judgment. The Supervisor must maintain the ability to handle requests from multiple sources. This person will be responsible for the direct supervision of the support staff and is also responsible for the creation and maintenance of the work schedules of all support staff assuring appropriate coverage. This person will take the responsibility of assuring that all patient encounters are being recorded and billed and maintain statistical information regarding activity. This person will also act as a troubleshooter and will resolve issues as they arise and/or involve appropriate management personnel as needed.
What you will do
- Supervision of Operations
- Responsible for managing all daily operations of the site including developing and refining policies and procedures, working closely with staff to optimize efficiencies in areas such as scheduling, information collection and patient flow
- Works with clinical staff to assure proper patient care.
- Handle/solve complaints and/or problems as they arise.
- Develop site specific policies that benefit the site positively
- Develop/alter physician's master schedules.
- Responsible for changing physicians' schedules as dates need to be opened or closed.
- Perform Kronos and submit biweekly.
- Make daily bank deposits.
- Maintain deposit records and daily service batches.
- Serve as a liaison to departments
- Responsible for assuring all patient encounters are captured, recorded and billed.
- Implements and maintains a system of daily checks and balances to assure all patient encounters are accounted for.
- Will be able to provide statistics on patients scheduled, patients billed, no show and/or cancellation rates.
- Assures compliance with regulations and standards set forth by regulatory agencies
- Participates in preparation and implementation of a performance improvement plan and supervises the collection of data.
- Follows cost control standards of the hospital and department.
- Carefully monitors the usage of supplies and equipment to eliminate or minimize waste and /or misuse of supplies and equipment.
- Supervision of Support Staff
- Creates schedule for support staff assuring adequate coverage to maximize efficient operations
- Assign duties to appropriate staff to efficiently assure proper handling of the following situations
- Proper coverage for front desk
- Provide guidelines to staff for appropriate triage of patients.
- Assure proper scheduling procedure are followed
- Establish protocols for handling of insurance acceptance.
- Assure all service reports are properly prepared and completed
- Establishes and maintains proper controls for fee collection
- Perform performance appraisals, counseling and disciplinary actions for assigned staff.
- Maintain registration/scheduling ability
- Follow and monitor compliance with established Hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
Education Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED - Required
- Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
Experience Qualifications
- At least two (2) years related professional experience - Required
- At least five (5) years related professional experience - Preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Experience with computers.
- Strong knowledge of IDX scheduling and registration.
- Strong knowledge of third party reimbursement.
- Ability to interact professionally in complex and sometimes emotionally charged situations.
- Ability to function efficiently and professionally with a minimum of supervision.
- Ability to quickly learn new procedures.

$61,360.00 - $78,230.00 Annually
Salary ranges are shown for full-time jobs. If you're working part-time, your pay will be adjusted accordingly. ------------------- This job is eligible for an incentive program.
