Hunter Hamilton is hiring an experienced and detail-oriented HR Operations Specialist to support a major client's regional workforce in Byhalia, MS. This full-time, on-site temporary opportunity is expected to run through the end of the year, offering competitive hourly pay, weekly paychecks, direct deposit, and temporary health benefits. What You'll Do: Serve as a key liaison for branch and regional employees, answering questions related to HR policies, benefits, onboarding, and training opportunities Support new hire onboarding, including preparing offer letters, processing I-9 and tax forms, running e-Verify checks, and ensuring background and drug screenings are completed Manage employee life cycle changes in internal systems (e.g., transfers, promotions, terminations) and file appropriate documentation with payroll and labor relations teams Administer and track leave of absence requests, manage communication with The Hartford, and ensure ADA compliance and return-to-work coordination Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and ensure data integrity in the Human Capital Management (HCM) system Generate reports from internal systems (WPSP) to support finance, HR, and regional leadership teams Monitor performance management and compliance initiatives, and support other HR functions as assigned What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) 3+ years of HR support or administrative experience, preferably in both union and non-union environments Strong knowledge of employee onboarding, HR compliance, and workforce documentation standards Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to multi-task and manage sensitive data with discretion and accuracy Comfortable working on-site full time in Byhalia, MS What We Offer Through Hunter Hamilton: Competitive hourly pay: $30-$35/hr Weekly pay with direct deposit Temporary health benefits while on assignment Supportive recruitment team and a streamlined onboarding process After you have applied, download our Staffmark Group WorkNOW App to receive real-time job offers and apply for additional opportunities.
