Responsibilities: - Write server side code for the integration of 3rd party devices into enterprise ecosystem - Design develop and implement highly scalable resilient and robust cloud-based services to facilitate support for this very robust product. - Manage development continuous integration and deployment for various microservices in the platform. - Work closely with QA to create automated application level test suites. - Apply industry best-practice software standards and technology to complex business problems. - Collaborate with other teams in and outside company to create and develop scalable solutions that integrate well with the existing ecosystem. - Present and defend architectural design and technical choices to internal and external audiences and develop prototypes quickly. - Potential for travel to maintain good collaboration with teams at the company headquarters in Philadelphia. Required Qualifications: - 8 years software programming experience in mainstream programming languages - 4 years of Node.js - Experience in developing cloud based web services and ability to design for performance reliability and scalability - Experience working in large-scale production deployments performance tuning and troubleshooting. - Experience in designing software architecture for high volume applications - Experience in designing developing and maintaining APIs for web services - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or any related field - Solid foundation in software design and algorithms with strong analytical and debugging skills Preferred Qualifications: - Software programming experience. - Masters degree in Computer Science or any related field - Experience in Web Applications development - Experience in cloud deployments with AWS/Azure/GCP - Experience in data streaming and creating data pipelines with Kafka/Spark or similar - Open Source contributions - Good communication skills with both technical and non-technical audience - Internet of Things IoT interest or experience Must have experience with Node.js and web services.
