Description of Role: The Director of Attendance and Behavioral Supports (MTSS Focus) leads and collaborates with district and school-level teams to ensure the effective implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) with a primary focus on improving student attendance, behavior, and engagement. The Director plays a critical role in strengthening student connection to school, reducing chronic absenteeism, improving school climate, and ensuring equitable outcomes for all students. This position reports to the Assistant Superintendent of Student Support Services and works closely with the Office of Teaching & Learning and the Office of Planning & Accountability.
