We have an exciting opportunity for anHead of Warehouse & Manual Handling to Lead the warehouse and ground operations sub-function for the country and provide input to and lead the implementation of functional strategy to provide smooth operations for movement, storage and inventory control of materials, finished goods, tools and packaging and to meet cost, quality, customer and market-specific requirements in line with the country's business strategy and requirements, corporate guidelines and policies. This position will be based at our Atlanta, GA facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the warehouse and ground operations sub-function for the country.

  • Provide input to and lead the implementation of functional strategy for smooth operations related to movement, storage, and inventory control of materials, finished goods, tools, and packaging.

  • Meet cost, quality, customer, and market-specific requirements in line with the country's business strategy and corporate guidelines.

  • Define warehouse and manual handling strategy in line with country's business strategy and corporate guidelines.

  • Lead preparation and implementation of warehouse and manual handling plans, budgets, and measures.

  • Prepare plans, organize, and control country-level projects and initiatives related to movement, storage, and inventory control.

  • Direct and lead country's warehouse operations for shipment, stock-keeping, and delivery of all goods.

  • Lead and organize ground operations activities for timely and efficient collection and delivery of freight.

  • Monitor optimum levels of utilization of capacities and resources to drive cost efficiency.

  • Conceptualize cost-effective and efficient warehousing solutions and processes.

  • Lead development and implementation of safety/security and inventory control programs.

  • Review operations performance and evaluate existing operations, data, and facilities.

  • Lead development of new concepts for transportation, sorting, delivery, and tools for improving network and sorting processes.

  • Analyze complex issues and improve, change, or adapt existing warehouse and manual handling methods and techniques.

  • Benchmark and introduce best-in-class warehouse and manual handling infrastructure and practices at country level.

  • Manage and execute warehouse/distribution center activities related to movement, tools, and packaging.

  • Lead multiple teams of lower-level executives, directors/senior managers, and managers.

  • Develop short to long-term (1-5 years) plans for optimizing the organization, function, or job-family and the talent required to execute strategies.

Skills / Requirements:

  • Education Level: Master's degree.

  • Experience Level: More than 8 years.

Pay Range: $130,011.75 - $173,349.00+ (Based on Experience)
