Accelerating the delivery of care and providing superior force health readiness across the Military, Federal, and Civilian landscapes. Summary: The Program Manager will support the Department of Defense - Defense Health Agency (DHA). The Program Manager will oversee the development, execution, and lifecycle management of campaign materials that support the Ready, Reliable, and Resilient Campaign (RWC). This role is critical to ensuring consistent, compelling, and compliant messaging that raises awareness of health and readiness topics across military and beneficiary communities.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
Provide strategic leadership and project management for all activities related to campaign material development and lifecycle management in alignment with DHA's communications goals.
- Manage the creation of high-quality campaign content in both print and digital formats, ensuring alignment with DHA messaging and branding standards.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of campaign materials - from initial concept and stakeholder review through production, dissemination, updates, and archival.
- Coordinate with DHA stakeholders, including subject matter experts, communications officers, and public affairs representatives to ensure alignment of messaging with campaign themes.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables for campaign development efforts, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.
- Maintain a content repository, ensuring proper version control, document retention, and accessibility across DHA platforms.
- Provide quality assurance for all campaign materials, including visual and editorial review.
- Monitor campaign effectiveness using analytics, feedback, and performance metrics, and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Manage and support a multidisciplinary team of writers, designers, and digital content specialists to execute campaign activities.
- Ensure compliance with federal accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508) and DoD information dissemination policies.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience with editing and content review.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar).
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience managing contracts with two (2) years of experience supporting nation-wide public health campaigns.
- Experience managing psychological health, public health campaigns and experience coordinating psychological health campaign evaluations is preferred.
- Ability to pass a employment background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience with military health or public health campaigns.
- Familiarity with Defense Health Agency operations and mission.
