As a key member of the Enovis Surgical Medical Education Team you will play an integral part in helping Enovis drive the medical technology industry forward through transforming patient care and creating better patient outcomes.

Job Title/High Level Position Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Global Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Program Director to develop, implement, lead and elevate our EHS initiatives, projects and programs across the enterprise globally. This leadership role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulatory standards worldwide, fostering a culture of safety, and driving continuous improvement in EHS performance across all sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Global EHS Strategy Development: Design and implement a comprehensive EHS strategy aligned with corporate objectives, ensuring compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other relevant standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Monitor and interpret global EHS regulations, ensuring all facilities adhere to local and international laws. Lead risk assessments, including developing comprehensive Business Continuity Plans, and audits to proactively identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Program Leadership & Continuous Improvement: Oversee the development and execution of EHS programs, focusing on continuous improvement, incident reduction, and fostering a proactive safety culture.
  • Training & Development: Develop and deliver EHS training programs to ensure all employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary EHS liaison with regulatory agencies, industry groups, and internal stakeholders, representing the company in EHS-related matters.
  • Performance Metrics & Reporting: Establish and track key EHS performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular reports to senior leadership on program effectiveness and areas for improvement.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum of 12 years of progressive EHS experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing global operations. The medical device or orthopedic industry a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of global EHS regulations, ISO standards, and best practices within the orthopedic and medical device sectors.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence organizational change, and drive EHS initiatives across diverse cultural and regulatory environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
