Ability to work as a team member and independently, in consultation with the Principal Investigator, to assist in the planning, oversight, and execution of a preclinical research program
Will be responsible for ensuring efficient day-to-day operation of the Translational Imaging Laboratory . Does this position require Patient Care? No Responsibilities include laboratory management activities, training and mentorship of junior personnel, data analyses, and report and manuscript preparation. This position does not involve patient care. Must have at least 3 years of Master's degree or Ph.D. (or equivalent) level experience in a preclinical research environment, including data analysis and must have peer-reviewed publications. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be capable of working with laboratory rodents and in proximity to a high magnetic field (9.4 Tesla) MRI scanner. Must have experience preparing and administering study drugs, including anesthetics, to rodents. Must be proficient in the use of videoconferencing software, Microsoft Office applications, and statistical analysis software. Essential Functions -Oversee, train on, and perform laboratory bench procedures for services as defined above. Education:
Master's Degree or Ph.D. (or equivalent) in a related Field of Study required

Experience:
At least 3 years in a preclinical biological, physiological, or behavioral laboratory, with co-authorships on peer-reviewed publications. Must be capable of working with laboratory rodents and in proximity to a high magnetic field (9.4 Tesla) MRI scanner. Must have experience preparing and administering study drugs, including anesthetics, to rodents. Must be proficient in the use of videoconferencing software, Microsoft Office applications, and statistical analysis software.
