Position Summary

Here at Riverside Foods the Sanitation team is critical to our operation, ensuring equipment is clean and sanitized for our food production.

What You'll Do:

• Assist the Sanitation Manager in the daily activities in the 3rd shift sanitation department.
• Review or complete the daily sanitation paperwork.
• Oversee and ensure the proper completion of all sanitation activities, including the cleaning and sanitizing of plant equipment andcleaning of facilities.
• Setup of production and packaging lines to ensure cleanliness and proper set-up for production.
• Identify maintenance issues with equipment and notify Sanitation Manager or Maintenance Personnel of issue.
• Demonstrate an understanding of chemical handling and safety; ensure that chemicals are properly labeled.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

What You'll Bring:

• Ability to lead and direct a team.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment near moving or mechanical parts and refrigerated/freezer storage areas.
• Ability to work scheduled shift, Monday - Friday, 10 pm - 6 am, plus overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures, GMP and HACCP requirements.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and work in drug-free environment.
• Focus on safety and willingness to wear required PPE.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the organization.
