Could you be the full-time onsite Industrial Quality Engineer in New Castle, DE, US we're looking for? Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your quality assurance expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside dedicated and detail-oriented teammates. You'll ensure the compliance of products and parts delivered by Alstom facilities, directly contributing to the reliability and excellence of our manufacturing processes. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (such as Process & Manufacturing Engineering and customer representatives), maintain inspection records and quality documentation, and validate manufacturing control plans, and much more. We'll look to you for:
Performing inspections and ensuring product compliance, including checks after rework,
Recording inspection results in industrial digital tools as required,
Conducting destructive and non-destructive examinations when required and qualified,
Maintaining inspection records per component, assembly, and vehicle,
Validating manufacturing control plans in collaboration with PME teams,
Maintaining quality documentation for all relevant components, assemblies, and vehicles,
Participating in customer joint inspections to uphold quality standards,
Problem-solving and effective communication to address quality-related challenges.

Degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline),
Experience or understanding of inspections of parts, assemblies, and/or vehicles to ensure product compliance,

Familiarity with maintaining and managing quality documentation and inspection records,
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and customers,
Strong work management skills to handle priorities and meet deadlines,
Problem-solving skills to identify and address issues effectively,
- Willingness to travel to other company sites as needed.
