STV is seeking a Cost Manager for the Construction Management Group in Los Angeles, CA

Key responsibilities include:

  • Budget Oversight (50%): Providing oversight and support for managing the budgets of all P&PM projects.

  • Funding Requests (20%): Generating Department Service Orders, Supplements, and other funding requests while tracking their approval status.

  • Reporting (15%): Updating and developing all monthly financial reports for ISD leadership.

  • Financial Controls Management (15%): Providing oversight of the Financial Controls Team.

Qualifications:

  • The Cost Manager must possess a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, mathematics, or a related field.

  • Must have at least five (5) years of experience in the last ten (10) years providing Construction Project Management-related services for governmental entities.

  • A valid and active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in the State of California is preferred but not required.

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of work experience in financial management support.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including advanced Excel skills.

  • Experience working with financial systems such as Oracle Financials and SAP.

  • Familiarity with cloud-based construction management software.

  • Strong communication and team management skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, intense environment.

Compensation Range:

$122,944.48 - $163,925.98
