You're the type who takes pride in keeping things organized, running smoothly. You're always one step ahead. Don't you just thrive in a hands-on role where no two days are exactly alike? Same. You belong at Industries for the Blind and Visually Impaired.

We're on the lookout for a motivated, experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerk who will be an essential part of our operations team. At ibvi, we're more than just a business-we're a mission-driven nonprofit committed to making a positive impact in our community and beyond. Every package you touch, every delivery you complete, and every customer you support is another step toward that mission.

What a Day Looks Like:

Your morning kicks off with checking in deliveries from UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers. You'll inspect shipments for accuracy and damage, enter data into our system, and get items ready for distribution. Attention to detail and accountability are key here-you'll be trusted to manage this process efficiently and independently.

By mid-morning, it's time to load up the box truck with outbound deliveries. You'll hit the road, ensuring orders get to our customers safely and on time. You're the friendly face of our company, so professionalism and punctuality matter.

Back at the store, you'll spend your afternoon supporting the team-restocking shelves, organizing inventory, and making sure the back-end logistics align with front-end customer satisfaction. You'll be the go-to for smooth transitions between receiving, stocking, and sales.

What We're Looking For:

  • Organization & Accuracy: You set high standards for yourself. You're precise, efficient, and committed to doing the job right.
  • Driving Skills: A valid driver's license and a clean record. You're comfortable driving a box truck for local deliveries.
  • Team Support: You know that shipping/receiving is the backbone of a great customer experience. You're happy to pitch in wherever needed.
  • Mission-Driven: You're inspired by purpose. You want to work for a company that's doing something meaningful.
